Low temperature plasma technology is a new technology for exhaust gas treatment developed in recent years. The principle of low-temperature plasma treatment for exhaust gas is that when the applied voltage reaches the discharge voltage of the gas, the gas is broken down, producing a mixture including electrons, various ions, atoms, and free radicals. Low temperature plasma degradation of pollutants utilizes the interaction between high-energy electrons, free radicals, and other active particles with pollutants in exhaust gas to decompose pollutant molecules in a short period of time, in order to achieve the goal of pollutant degradation.
The principle of low-temperature plasma removal of pollutants:
Under the action of an external electric field, a large number of energy carrying electrons generated by dielectric discharge bombard pollutant molecules, causing them to ionize, dissociate, and excite. This then triggers a series of complex physical and chemical reactions, transforming complex large molecule pollutants into simple small molecule safe substances, or transforming toxic and harmful substances into harmless or low toxicity substances, thereby enabling pollutants to be degraded and removed. Due to the average energy of electrons generated after ionization being 10 eV, controlling the reaction conditions appropriately can make chemical reactions that are generally difficult to achieve or slow in speed become faster. 1. B. UV photolysis zone:
1. In the photolysis zone, after multi-stage purification to meet emission standards, a specially designed high-energy high ozone UV beam is used to irradiate the odorous gas, changing the molecular chain structure of the odorous gas. The molecular chains of organic or inorganic high molecular weight odorous compounds are degraded and transformed into low molecular weight compounds such as CO ₂, H ₂ O, etc. under high-energy UV beam irradiation.
2. Utilizing high-energy and high ozone UV beams to decompose oxygen molecules in the air to produce free oxygen, also known as reactive oxygen species. Due to the imbalance of positive and negative electrons carried by free oxygen, it needs to combine with oxygen molecules to produce ozone.
UV+O ₂ → O -+O * (reactive oxygen species) O+O ₂ → O3 (ozone), it is well known that ozone has a strong oxidizing effect on organic matter and has an immediate effect on odorous gases and other irritating odors.
3. After the odorous gas is input into this purification equipment through exhaust equipment, the purification equipment uses high-energy UV ultraviolet beams and ozone to synergistically decompose and oxidize the odorous gas, causing it to degrade and convert into low molecular weight compounds, water, and carbon dioxide, which are then discharged outdoors through exhaust pipes.
4. By using high-energy UV beams to break down the molecular bonds of bacteria in odorous gases, the nucleic acid (DNA) of bacteria is destroyed, and then oxidized by ozone to achieve deodorization and kill bacteria.
Maintenance and precautions of plasma UV photocatalytic integrated machine1. The installation of the plasma UV photocatalytic integrated machine equipment should strictly follow our company's requirements. Before entering the equipment, dust and air filtration devices should be installed to prevent the entry of dust from causing damage to the equipment and the treatment effect not meeting the standards;
2. If the plasma UV photocatalytic integrated machine equipment is installed outdoors, a rain shelter should be set up to prevent rainwater from damaging the equipment electrical box;
3. The honeycomb electric field inside the plasma UV photocatalytic integrated machine equipment needs to be cleaned according to production conditions. Based on experience, it should be cleaned every 2 months. During cleaning, the power must be cut off, and a small amount of dust and particulate matter can be blown with compressed air.
